This assortment of songs are the culmination of a collaboration between Pults and Camp inspired by their mutual love of music and the natural integration of Pults' talents as a songwriter and Camp's love of putting words to music. Both have extensive experience in the music business as former studio owners/operators and Camp's current involvement with Hat Creek Records. Below we hope you will select and listen to some of our songs, they range from country to soft rock, each one is a piece of Bob't life taken from either personal experience or just living life either good or bad. Themes vary from a cute song written from a dog's point of view "Stretch" to one or maybe another that will tear your heart apart "Anymore" to another that tells the story of "The Legend", the greatest dancer of all time (well, in the county at least).
Pay attention to "Curtain Of Silence", a ballad written about Bob's Mother performing amazing feats to excape The Nazi's in WW2 and making her way to America, forming a successful development company in Texas, raising a family and became one of the first women to break into the male dominated field of Texas commercial real estate, becoming a self-made millionaire. She fully embraced the opportunities afforded her as she chased the American dream.

Try a new song about a lost love. This is one of the more melodical tunes we have created and probably one of the most touching. This is one of the newest songs released by Hat Creek Records with Bob Pults' "Working Man Blues". Could be an anthem for anyone who has a job they're not too happy working in. Or maybe the every day hum-drum is getting you down. Bob wrote this song from his life experiences. As you listen you might notice a lot of saxaphone lay ins due mainly to Alec's love of that instrument. Listen and enjoy!
Here is "The Legend", a new true song/story by the songwriting/arranging team of Bob & Alec. The song tells the story of a unique duo that danced their way into the hearts of evey one who watched them on the dance floor. Great country rock tune with lyrics to match.
"The Hunt" is a powerful tune about the spiritual side of hunting, describing the kill and the reverence to the hunt and most importantly the effects hunting leaves on the next and future generations. Its a driving tune that helps emphasize the importance of "The Hunt".
Early morning coffee and a love song, written by Bob for his love at......8:15 in the morning. Singing about how he loves writing songs along with his love for the most important person in his life by his side.
Perfect song about growing up on the beach in Texas and the fun they had being just young, carefree and all that mattered who was making the next beer run. This is the closest to a rock song in this release, much different than the rest of this collection. The arrangement is by Alec and he loved the music so much he had to convince Bob it was right for his song. Hope you like it!
This song starts as a sweet ballad about lost love but not quite done. It builds into a powerful, gut wrenching ending that will make you emotional at best. Perhaps this song belongs to everyone who has ever had a sad ending to a love story.
"Hard Life" is a true to life soft rock like song about the rigors of just trying to live life as it comes to you, good or bad. Probably taken from his own feelings of how hard life can be. For Bob, most likely the toughest time in his life and as a product of those times he wrote this song.
How true to life can a song be than "It's All About The Money". Probably everyone who hears it can relate, some much more. This is a cool song covering the truth and false truth concerning to many, one of the most important facets of life.
How about a cute song written from his point of view, not about Stretch but written by Stretch. It's a happy story about his life, best friend and also nearing the end. A classic country tune. Alec had a ball creating the music for "Stretch".
A "cast your memory back" song, remembering the days that were compared to the days now. Feel Bob's passion as he writes about his good old days. A snappy ballad.
This is a beautiful story of a long lost civilization on a mountain in far Western Arkansas. Bob and his Brother-in-law, David, who we thank for this actual picture taken on Rich Mountain, hiked to the top of the mountain one day, no small feat! Future inspiration for this song.
Reminiscing on the past and comparing to the present. Maybe most everyone can relate. Truly a soft and sad love song. Putting one's feelings out there when it's the hardest yet proud of where he is now.
The joys of songwriting are defined in this one, at least from Bob's viewpoint. How just a thought becomes another story. A nice, ballad like song that is catchy and from the heart.
